Announcement: MendeleyKit – the iOS SDK published

We are pleased to announce the first public release of alpha version (0.8.1) of our MendeleyKit Objective-C SDK for iOS.

The software may be accessed via our github repository at https://github.com/Mendeley/mendeleykit. In addition to the actual SDK, the MendeleyKit workspace contains an example project, a MendeleyKitHelp.zip file with a full set of HTML/Docset reference files and important licence, readme and release documents.

We strongly recommend using cocoapods to include MendeleyKit into your project/workspace. For further information regarding cocoapods, please go to http://cocoapods.org/

Remember: As with other SDKs provided by Mendeley, you should first register your application at http://dev.mendeley.com/. MendeleyKit will need required application details (e.g. client ID) to operate fully.

Finally: this is our first public release of an Objective-C MendeleyKit. Although we aimed to give you a comprehensive SDK to work with, further changes to existing code in MendeleyKit may be required.

In the meantime, we warmly welcome any feedback and suggestions you may have. This will help us improve our software. For feedback, please contact api@mendeley.com
